Aplomb Gallery, 15 Mechanic St, Ste 117, Dover, NH or via zoom
Join a Special 1.5-Hour Workshop, register by March 17 so we can get materials in time. Thrive New England is presenting a traveling exhibition, In Their Shoes, which will be on display at Aplomb Gallery during the first week of June. They are inviting participants to decorate shoes that express their unique journeys. While Thrive New England primarily works with survivors of sexual exploitation and trafficking, we welcome anyone to participate in this workshop as a creative form of self-expression. Your finished shoes may be included in the exhibition if you’d like, but that is not required. You can use an old pair of shoes or find one at a thrift store. If you’re joining via Zoom, I will send you acrylic pens and markers, but feel free to use any materials you have on hand—be unconventional! At the gallery, we will have a wide variety of supplies available. This workshop will be led by Executive Director and artist, Danielle Festa.
Thank you to the The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation to help make longer format workshops possible through a grant!
